- Is this a subscription?
- No. You pay $39 once and keep PAuL. Updates for version 1 are included.
- What does the free trial include?
- Everything, for 14 days, with no credit card. When it ends your recordings and transcripts stay on your Mac; you need a license to record again.
- Do the AI features cost extra?
- Recording, transcription and speaker separation run on your Mac at no extra cost. Naming speakers and asking questions use an AI provider you choose — Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic or OpenAI — with your own account, and that provider bills you directly for what you use.
- How do I get my license?
- Right after you pay, we email you a license key with a one-click activation link. Open it on your Mac and PAuL unlocks.
- What if it isn’t right for me?
- You can get a full refund within [30] days. See our refund policy.
- What do I need?
- Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later), macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
- Who handles payment?
- Our online reseller, Paddle, is the merchant of record. Paddle processes your payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and sends your receipt.
